After an amazing experience in whale shark watching we decided to visit Sumilon Island which is still in Oslob, Cebu.
I never heard about Sumilon Island and it wasn’t actually my plan. Only when I got there and when the receptionist of the
resort suggested about it. They will help you in making arrangements in your day tour.
The trip to Sumilon Island costs 1500 pesos (boat rental) good for 3 to 5 persons with 10 pesos for entrance fee. I’m not sure in 2500 pesos if beyond 5 persons and it depends on the size of the boat .
It’s not that pricey anyway only when youre in a group.
That time I’m not sure if I’m able to go there since I’m solo backpacker but fortunately, I was able to meet
this couple who also wants to go to Sumilon Island.
They’re also first timers like me. So I asked them if we could go together
so that we can save payment and they agreed. They’re very nice and friendly and it seems like we’ve known each other for a long time.
I guess they are celebrating their Wedding Anniversary.
We went together for the whole day in Oslob from whale shark watching, Sumilon and Tumalog falls.
Island hopping is one my favorite parts in travelling especially when riding a boat, watching and feeling the waves,
air and crystal blue water that is really catching my attention and it is somehow refreshing for me. It took us almost 15 mins to reach the beautiful Island.
I was mesmerized as we landed by this beautiful Island. It is very stunning, the fresh air, sugary sand and crystal blue water. We never had
a chance to stay any accommodations since it was a just
a day trip with my newly meet friends.
We went there around 9:00 am and it’s quite hot that time.
The place was amazing and it’s a perfect place for photoshoot. How I wish I could bring my family here for spending quality time
with them or my future wife to be ahemmmm!!! Soon in God’s time.
I hope you guys enjoy my new entry about my Day tour in Sumilon Island.
